It is just so preposterous on its face that a candidates opponent can just exclaim that they are an insurrectionist and have them removed from the ballot in the absence of any due process. It is the Salem Witch Trials all over again.

It was undisputable that he was a Confederate General. He wore the uniform, led troops, fought in the Civil WAR for YEARS vs. the Union Army in a WAR that killed 360K union soldiers.

Donn, exactly which trial is Trump on the hook for being an "insurrectionist?" The one in New York where the "Special Prosecutor" is illegal? The one in Georgia where the prosecutor is also illegal? Seems you've been reading the wrong press. Colorado? Not a leg to stand on.
