Syria: Any thoughts
Re: Syria: Any thoughts
Geez. You mean it's been taken over by liberals? Here I thought it was roughly 90 % conservative! (sarc.)

So predictable.bpj wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 11:19 pmThey obliterated the Syrian military to help their Al Quaeda puppet because they want to be able to fly through Syrian airspace when they attack Iran.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Fri Dec 13, 2024 3:34 pmOverthrowing a dictator doesn't make you a nice guy, but it does make you the winner. What's going to happen now with Syria who knows. That's why I question Israel being behind it so to speak. They would never be able to control it. It will most likely turn into an unstable radical Muslim state. Think American support of the Taliban in Afghanistan. There be some advantage to getting rid of Assad in terms of Iran's influence but that's about it. But opening the door to who knows what sort of regimen now? It's hard for me to see them feeling comfortable that be an improvement. I think it's reasonable that they would rather have had the secular Assad as a neighbor than the radical islamist Ahmed al-Sharaa

Leading us right into another war for Israel. People need to open their eyes before it's too late.

I believe conflict with Iran goes beyond fighting a war for Israel. Iran is both a strategic and military ally of Russia. America has generally resisted the expansion of Russian influence even with trump wanting to buddy up to Putin. Iran is also in conflict with Saudi Arabia in terms of regional influence and power, Saudi Arabia is an ally of the united states even with speculation of it's involvement in 911

Believe whatever you want. Iran only hates us because we're Israel's lapdog.Donn Beach wrote: ↑Mon Apr 28, 2025 1:09 pmI believe conflict with Iran goes beyond fighting a war for Israel. I even told you months ago exactly what would happen with the Syrian airspace after Assad got taken out, it couldn't be more obvious it's all about Israel.

It's not about trusting the media. I don't view the media as a monolithic entity. Its lots of little pieces that are competing with each other. What are they competing for, news. I don't believe anybody can control the message because the objective is to ace a story from your competitors
and that would be a great one. You listen to the competing voices and deduce what you feel is the truth.
Terms of Israel attacking Iran they already have, they did it wilh Assad in power. It very well could be easier with him out of power but it wasn't necessary far as I know.
The real driving force currently is the issue of Iran gaining nuclear weapons. I think that goes beyond defending Israel. It has to be a real concern with Saudi Arabia. We could be as much a Saudi proxy as an Israeli. You understand there's a proxy war being fought between Iran and Saudi Arabia that
rivals the one between Iran and Israel

Can't even see the media is controlled

That's pathetic at this point.
Have you ever seen anything you didn't try to think up some dumb excuse for?
