I actually lost all my memes on some poor file management. So, I guess I need to restock. Loving this one. Perhaps more than just a meme. It hits so hard.

Interesting, I know people would have a real issue with removing "under God" from the pledge... those types who want the 10 Commandments in public school classrooms.

"Liberty" means nobody is forcing you to stand up at 8:00 AM in some prison for kids and recite some cult pledge.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 8:52 pmInteresting, I know people would have a real issue with removing "under God" from the pledge... those types who want the 10 Commandments in public school classrooms.
"Liberty" means you can pledge allegiance to whatever the hell you want as long as you don't force other people to do anything by threat of violence.
"Liberty" means you can say "under God", "under the Devil", "Under an umbrella", whatever you want it to be.
The concept of this pledge is not to replace the existing prison for kids K-12 indoctrination cult flag worship zombie trance pledge of allegiance to your slavemasters with an alternative. smh. the idea here is there is no "public" school and all learning is done on the free market, through children's curiosity, apprenticeships... not bussing them off to some place away from their parents to be traumatized, bullied, and brainwashed.

Re: The Voluntaryist Pledge
The irony is that it isn't liberals who would care if they irradicated the pledge all together. Certainly not liberals who would give a shit if the words "under God" were stricken. And it's not liberals who want the 10 commandments on the walls of schools...DanielVogelbach wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 9:48 pm"Liberty" means nobody is forcing you to stand up at 8:00 AM in some prison for kids and recite some cult pledge.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 8:52 pmInteresting, I know people would have a real issue with removing "under God" from the pledge... those types who want the 10 Commandments in public school classrooms.

You just posted about how schools are mind washing institutions for liberalism... and then post one of the most glaring examples of forced patriotism and mind-washing set forward by the Conservative right. They would lose their minds if a school tried to remove the pledge of allegiance lol.

Liberals aren't patriots, but they're massive statists. Statism is immoral, because it advocates the use of violent force against anyone who disobeys the will of the state regardless of morality in terms of natural law.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Mon Sep 01, 2025 10:12 pm

I don't support any side of "government", because it's all just organized crime. I support freedom and free markets.
Do you agree that it's immoral to force people to do things without their consent?
Do you think it's okay to rob your neighbor? Do you think it's okay to elect a "representative" to rob your neighbor?
I don't really see the fake left right dichotomy that you cling to. I just see two wings of the same bird. If voting mattered, they wouldn't let you do it. You can't vote your way out of tyranny. Nobody is going to go through the trouble to gain power over you and then act in your best interest. Nobody is going to go through the trouble to gain power over you and then just hand it over to the winner of an election.
