No New Wars!

I think me and Mrs Moston dodged some tension in the region. A lovely week holiday in Cyprus, our flight returned yesterday and today they have been evacuating the airport. Our hotel was just 40 miles from where there was a drone "attack".

I told her not to consider those cheap hotels in Beirut next Spring.

Did you lot know that Iran will be playing one of their games in Seattle during the World Cup?

The notion that Israel has any leverage over the U.S. (or Trump) is asinine given that they have depended so heavily on us for the weapons they need to fend off the murderous Islamists surrounding them.

And to SorB, maybe you didn't hear about the 30-50 THOUSAND protesters that were killed by the Iranian regime in a few weeks because you were so focused on the atrocity of two whacked out leftists that commited suicide by cop here in the States. Don't you care about them or are they no better than the 1500 Israelis that were butchered a couple years ago?

I applaud Trump for seizing this opportunity to strike a blow against evil in this world and help secure peace for future generations. To those who would like to have seen the Iatollah remain in power, GO TO HELL...

I don't think it's the United States job to be the world police.

Regime changes the US has attempted to enact haven't gone well. And they are made worse by an inept administration that has made it loud and clear they don't have a strategy for what to do next... admitting they accidently killed leaders they thought might be up for the task of leading Iran to Democracy.

And besides all that, it was the lot of Trump supporters who touted "no new wars" as their reason for supporting Trump. It's not up for me to grapple with the moral flip flop it's going to take to support this when that was one of Trump's main campaign promises.
