I don't want to attribute anything to anyone, but what bothers me are requirements that are put into place relatively soon before election day. If we are going to have voter ID requirements (and I think we should), let's announce it 4 years in advance, then enforce it strictly, and then also make it REALLY EASY AND CONVENIENT for anyone with a voter ID to vote.
