Man, there is ENORMOUS difference between cloud seeding (at best, a minor tweak on existing weather patterns) and steering a hurricane. If cloud seeding had been successful, we'd have lush pastures all over the Arabian Peninsula, wouldn't we?

Meanwhile, a major hurricane, in one day, has energy equivalent to 200 times the total electric generation capacity on earth. (Source: https://science.howstuffworks.com/envir ... quake1.htm)

So I conclude that MTG bringing up cloud seeding as a way to "suggest" or "imply" that Helene was aimed at certain areas is uninformed at best, and intentionally misleading at worst. Straight out of the "I'm just asking questions" playbook.

Meanwhile, watch out for Milton. Now a tropical storm, but it has the potential to have 125 mph winds in a few days and seems headed for the west coast of Florida. If so, godspeed to everyone living there. This could be Tampa's "big one" for flooding and perhaps wind damage.

Respectfully disagree. When it comes to CA, Republicans are in the outside looking in. Just another example of the result of Democrat policies that have turned the Golden State into a hellhole.
