Biden recently came out and admitted the Feds cannot handle covid and they basically have no real plan. I think this is the first step in the disintegration of all the mandate nonsense. People are pissed off, he is losing all the court battles, and with the 2022's looming, I think the Dems are now going into full on damage control mode. Pissed off citizens, whose lives are being ruined - and lost - aren't going to vote for the ilk that has caused them so much misery. This admin is aggressively trying to trot out new narratives with softball interviews and laughable coverage - even they have to see their strategy is beyond failed.

The pendulum is swinging the other way. Now the dems will suddenly be all about "pro Police' and 'anti-mandates' as the elections loom. This may have been the strategy all along. I dunno, I still think it's mostly just staggering incompetence. Funny to watch it all in real time in the internet age where they really cannot hide. Dems probably caused irreparable damage to their brand and the country - mostly to 'spite trump'.

I also firmly beleive that Biden, in concert with the media, have absolutely used COVID fear mongering to distract from all his failed policies. He won't talk about the border or Afghanistan or the economy or the supply chain or inflation - he has been distracting the country with COVID - and he's realizing that no one is buying it anymore, except the most hardcore idiots - and that is a fraction of the voting population. he has used COVID for theater to distract from his incredibly obvious incompetence.
