Food for thought:

History awarded Pasteur for being the “father of immunology” and popularizing the theory that disease involves “a simple interaction between specific microorganisms and a host.” In his single-minded focus on the germ side of the equation, Pasteur ignored the host and discounted the influence of environmental factors, thereby “conveniently dismissing social responsibility for disease.”

Both at the time and thereafter, the public and most fellow scientists found germ theory easy to embrace, perceiving Pasteur’s model of life and health to be not only “superficially plausible” but also “financially exploitable.” In fact, most of the big-name pharmaceutical companies that we know today got their start in Pasteur’s era, often by merging with chemical firms, united in their goal of developing and selling synthetic products to “selectively kill or immobilize parasites, bacteria, and other invasive disease-causing microbes.” Quoting comments by Ethel Douglas Hume in 1923, one author has remarked that Pasteur’s “greatest claim to fame ought to have been the inauguration of the ‘calamitous prostitution of science and medicine to commercialism.’”

For those who are able to steel themselves against medical propaganda, it is abundantly clear that the Pasteurian paradigm has failed to deliver. With Americans in such a shocking state of ill health, we cannot afford to let the profit-driven pharmaceutical perspective continue to dominate.

Pasteur ... admitted before dying that the Terrain theory is right.
We can have an argument about which sources are correct, but I don't think this is true.
I personally don't take much stock in any historical quotes or references. Basically all of history can't be proven. It's just "his story". Something someone wrote down. Then, you factor in the power and motivation associated with lying about history to shape people's thoughts, and it seems almost obvious that most of history as we're taught is probably full of lies. This is another reason why I am so against public schools and universities. All of the history and government classes. The best place to get a history lesson is probably from your grandparents. A source you can trust, and someone that lived through the past. Going to school and having some moron teacher walk you through government propaganda curriculum is a waste of time.

A good quote I heard once was, "the victors write the history books, the losers write the music".

As for the germ vs terrain theory. I don't really know. But, what douche posted above is a common theme. Germ theory helped set up the modern medical system, which sucks. It's all about profits and keeping people sick to cash in on them. Americans are a bunch of sick, fat, tired, lazy, pill popping, diseased lab rats. I also have read that Americans spend more money on healthcare than anyone else in the world. This is probably a bit of a loaded stat, since our cost of living is higher and everything costs more from food to gasoline to surgical procedures. In fact, many people will travel from USA to Mexico to have procedures done for 25% of what it would cost in USA. Plus, spending on healthcare can be considered a luxury. The American might spend money on a kidney transplant where the undeveloped country person might just die. There are probably expensive procedures offered in USA that are not even available elsewhere.

Still, I think in general our country is not very healthy. Just look at the obesity when you walk around. I live in Texas, and it's really bad. I'm sure in Seattle it's not quite as bad. Also, the food supply is set up to get you sick. I think this is somewhat demand based. If people started focusing on eating more organic salads, fruit, vegetables, juice, smoothies, etc., then we might the supply and prices shift. If people stopped drinking Coca Cola and alcohol entirely, then those poisons would disappear. But, I think it's also a bit of an agenda. We get Doritos, McDonalds, and Budweiser and then we all end up sick, but we will say we "caught a bug". Pharmaceutical industry provides the pill and people pop the pill and order another Big Mac and blame the germs rather than their toxicity.

I can't believe I don't know this but does the regular Flu vax prevent infection? I have NEVER had a flu vax and likely never will.
it was proven that just by being
clean you protect yourself.
Wash you hands, for one.
I think the flu vaccine is
suppose to prevent you from
getting it.
Never had one either!

"Talk about mixed messaging. On one hand, the WHO sends the biggest possible signal to stop worrying, and then later says we still need to worry!

This is very typical of an agency that has repeatedly failed to rise up to these challenges.

When this all started, they could have rallied the world to counter the disease with real airborne precautions, stuff we’ve known since SARS1, focusing on the quality of indoor air. And people would have listened… we could have avoided lockdowns, people could have seen their relatives safely in hospital, businesses could have stayed safely open, and trillions of dollars in economic output saved, and we would have had enduring protection against future respiratory pandemics.

Instead, a few entrenched figures with careers to protect, kept any action from being taken and here we are today. Instead of ventilation upgrades we got ‘6 foot distancing’ Plexiglas and millions of gallons of hand sanitizer. This outdated guidance is still pushed by some authorities even to this day!

Except for a few Asian countries, no one has been about to spell out exactly how to live this new reality, between absolute panic, and absolute denial. The topic has become taboo, that even mentioning the word here will get this post off the algorithmic feed.

Now we have the worst of all worlds; we watch our life expectancy numbers plummet, our elderly and vulnerable facing a good chance of disability or death literally every time they get infected, and everyone else facing a decent chance at disability each time, and all we have is an antiviral which is hard to get, and a vaccine that barely works to prevent infection.

This sh*t needs to be made into a movie."

....until the WHO has new ones created. The global elite want a smaller world population. Looking forward to having a Bill Gates corn chip. One bag and the family line will be eliminated.

Study shows that once you went on a "ventilator" for COVID in the hospital....you pretty much died.
