Austin Texas is having shanty-towns pop up outside the city limits. We're starting to look like the South American cities where plywood, cardboard, and garbage are the norm. Fundamental changes that didn't have to happen. Thanks, Joe.

I do consider the entire population of the Puget Sound to be some of the most ignorant idiots in the world.

breaking: Emmett Till gets a statue

https://www.nbcnews.com/nightly-news/vi ... 9264453692

Another secular saint for Umerika. A young hoodlum (yes, even at 14) has an exchange with a store clerk so bad the clerk leaves her store to retrieve a gun from her boyfriends car (to no avail).

And for background, Tills father was hanged by the US Military in Europe for two rapes and a murder.

Why a monument ??? Lets just say it sets in cement that whites are guilty for eternity.

Case in point: They voted for Jim McDermott for years and now they vote for Pramila Jayapal.

So sad.

Have we come full circle?

Camping is racist according to the L.A. Times and NBC News. "People of color have been excluded from camping for decades." Interesting premise since anyone can walk into a Sporting Goods store and purchase a tent, fishing rods, sleeping bags, camp stoves, etc. Is the Times expecting these stores to give their merchandise away? Oh, wait.....

Plenty of camping going on now and you don't even have to leave the city or pay for a camp site....

Just glanced at the nbc article, the controversy is about the idea of safe spaces. Don't know about that, there are clubs now that promote camping and hiking for blacks, is that a safe space?. Fact is not many blacks camp, doing it with others that look like you makes sense. There has been discrimination, national and state parks upheld Jim crow laws where they applied, they were segregated
