Can anyone explain to me how the corpse of Joe Biden makes ANY sense to anyone at all? All the Dem's I know here admit to me they think it's a horrible choice, but that he's better than Trump. I don't get the Dem strategy - rig the nom for force Hillary on everyone - she loses in the biggest political upset of all time - and now they want to trot out a man who inspires no one, has Ukraine hanging over him, is clearly mentally incapacitated, and that makes sense.... to whom exactly?

He recently came out and (had someone clearly write this for him) that it's time to address 'systemic racism.'

he's been in politics for 50 years - back when it was a much bigger issue - he served under a black president for eight years - and they did nothing. NOTHING. Now it's suddenly a priority? I feel like I'm on crazy pills - this shit is like a disturbing episode of The Office because it's so absurd - and so blatantly absurd.

Dude I was golfing with said 'the rumor' is that if Biden gets elected he'll step down after a year or two (makes his VP nom very very interesting)- I have no idea if that is true or not, but doesn't that bring up the obvious problem with - how long can he even survive any of this? The poor guy has one foot in the grave. Who backs a candidate that has pretty much no shot of even surviving 4, let alone 8 years?

I have seen a lot of the protesting live and first-hand - literally in the middle of a few huge rallies - everyone I encountered was cool and kind - and mostly pasty white folks getting their first taste of exercise post-quarantine. Cool folks exercising their rights, but it just feels more like pent up quarantine rage being channeled into this.
