Who will win the presidential election
Re: Who will win the presidential election
46% is hard to believe. If it was 26%, I'd believe it. But then, Rasmussen has a reputation to maintain and to come out with a number that high? Then again, next week the number may be 17%, but if Trump even pulls that number, Biden is Toast.
Re: Who will win the presidential election
I tried betting someone who said Trump wouldn't get 8%
I think he'd probably still win the election with 8!

Thanks dt. I didn't know that but just looked it up. TI see that Rasmussen predicted Clinton by 2.0% nationally in the popular vote, and she ended up with the 2.1% advantage.D-train wrote: ↑Sat Oct 24, 2020 12:01 amWell I'm sure you do know Rasmussen nailed it in 2016 right Gil?gil wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 8:45 pmI think it is interesting that Rasmussen is different (on this number and others) from other pollsters. Since I think they all want to be as close to correct as possible, it will be interesting to see who is right come November 3 (or November 4, or November 5, or ...)ddraig wrote: ↑Fri Oct 23, 2020 7:25 pm46% of likely black voters favor Trump in a new Rasmussen poll. 46 friggin' percent? If that number is anywhere near correct, Biden is in some serious do do.
The same poll jumped 9% since Monday. Maybe some blacks are figuring out that Biden has been in Washington, D.C for 47 years and has done absolutely nothing to help them out of the hell holes created by Democrat (helped by Republicans, I might add) policies.
I could not find anything about how they did on the state level. Do you know anything that? I think a lot of pollsters missed by 1-3% on the national popular vote, but missed BIG TIME (7% or more) in certain states (Wisconsin, Michigan, Minnesota, Iowa, Ohio).
Re: Who will win the presidential election
Clinton screwed the pooch in 2016. She thought she had it in the bag while Trump spent the last days going to the "tossup" states. The only person Hillary should blame is herself for being so complaisant and not realizing how many really pissed off people there were out there. Biden is floating in the same pond. And I don't think the Dem/Socs realize how many people they've pissed off this year with all their riots.

Trump is going to win and he's going to win BIGLY!
Trump's numbers are way up for blacks and Hispanics over 2016 numbers. The Dems typically require 88% of the minority vote in order to win elections. Even with Obama on the campaign trail, the enthusiasm just isn't there for Joe.
Trump leads Florida by 200,000 early votes. The Dems usually lead in that department. Without Florida, Biden has to win big in the rust belt swing states. That's not going to be easy now that he promised to get rid of fossil fuels.
It doesn't matter where Trump goes... a huge crowd will follow. Interesting, 20% of those people attending rallies say they're not Republican and didn't vote for Trump in 2016. What that means, contrary to the media narrative, is that Trump's base of support is growing. He had 63 million supporters in 2016. Now Trump has at least 100 million who support him.
I predict that Trump will win over 300 electoral college votes as well as the popular vote nationally. Of course, that might take several weeks to become clear given the cheating nature of the Democrats. But the win will be too big to scam away for them. Trump gets four more years and the former Obama administration goes to jail.

The pollsters will be dead wrong once again...How they can go on and on with such fervor will only make election night that much sweeter.....HawkBowler 2.0 wrote: ↑Sun Oct 25, 2020 7:18 pmTrump is going to win and he's going to win BIGLY!

I am concerned about BLM and Antifa destroying Portland and Seattle when they find out how Trump ran the table.....I predict innocent people will be killed in the aftermath and it all should be laid at Barry’s feet
Re: Who will win the presidential election
This morning they had a list of people asking if they can get their ballots back and re-vote. Pennsylvania was #4. Unfortunately, Pennsylvania is not one of those that you can get your ballot back but the top three are "toss-up" states and you can get your ballot back if you want. I know one was Minnesota and I think the other two were Wisconsin and Ohio. Apparently the people in those states take Biden at his word when he says he wants to end fossil fuels. Well, that and calling people "chumps."

Re: Who will win the presidential election
A thought on the last debate and what it did to Old Joe
Save your money and go with the thorough bred not the one destined for the glue factory...lolChalk this one up to a lesson the Democrats should have learned back when Hillary hit her head on the glass ceiling: never bet against Trump. Just don't. Save your money and go with the thoroughbred, not the candidate meant for the glue factory. Can you imagine any other politician contracting the Chinese coronavirus, recovering, campaigning nonstop for the next two weeks, and showing up at a make-or-break debate looking healthier and more energetic than the guy holed up in his underground assisted living facility?
The Democrats always underestimate Donald Trump. Every time they succeed in hitting him with fire, they're too busy celebrating and gloating to realize that the president's already taken up a position behind them and lined up his sights. His feedback loop for learning, adjusting, and preparing for re-engagement is faster than anything the Democrats have faced.
"Momentum" is everything in the final days before an election. It's the secret sauce of winning campaigns, and the president might as well put his brand on the label because he owns it going into the home stretch. The polls are trending in Trump's direction, the economy is experiencing unprecedented growth, and Biden is hiding from a corruption scandal that proves he's a wholly owned subsidiary of the Chinese Communist Party.
The president's out doing five rallies a day and demonstrating to Americans that the country is stronger than China's coronavirus, while his opponent hides away to recover from the strain of standing for ninety minutes on a debate stage. Trump's crisscrossing the country, running up steps like Rocky Balboa, and rallying the labor force. Biden's teaching a generation of mask-shaming Karens to be so afraid of their own shadows that their only reaction to leaving their basements is "we just can't."
One candidate is full of life and vigorously encouraging Americans to reclaim their country before local Democrat mandates kill it off for good; the other candidate has spent the entire campaign in hospice and thinks Americans should join him.
There's no doubt which American future our enemies in China, Iran, and Russia prefer. No wonder they have Joe's family on retainer.
