Covid-19
Re: Covid-19
They already got immunity from whatever happens to citizens, but the gray area still has them scared.
But, please, when is the 4th booster coming out, hope I can be first in line...

Holy Shit! That is messed up.
One a slightly different note, I awoke to a text and email from the Junior High this morning that they had received a credible shooting threat, but not to fear, they will have police on sight. I get it, that helps some, but the hypocrisy is insane. My son had a headache, he has a history of migraines. Yet he had to provide a negative test result before he could go back to in person school, yet today? A legitimate threat to shoot of the school is received at that specific school? And they have in person school, the day before they are all let out for Christmas break.
Re: Covid-19
Damn. That's nuts. Nowadays, you're more likely to be punished for not wearing a mask at school than for bringing a gun. I'm joking of course, but man, I long for the days when the biggest fear about going to school was forgetting the visine.Holy Shit! That is messed up.

Has your son had any diagnosis on the cause of the migraines?

Joking, or not. Obviously you wouldn't get arrested for the mask, but your point is valid. They have to wear those damn things all day, and if they are talking and it falls below their nose? Some teachers freak out! It is nuts. I feel bad for the kids, that is for sure.auroraave wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:31 pmDamn. That's nuts. Not much on the diagnosis....sometimes chiropractic helps, sometimes that and having him pound water helps, but other times he just needs to lay down in a dark room. I feel for him. I had them for a period of time and had to go through some crazy chiropractic and traction to put the curve back in my neck! But not sure that is his issue, and mine was gone within a couple of months of that treatment.

Seems December 17th has 'school shootings' attached to it.

Hydration is probably the single biggest factor in your health, as long as you're not doing crack or meth or rooting for the 49ers. Try electrolyte drinks like gatorade next time he has an episode - if that helps, it's likely a hydration issue. Also, have both of you considered doing yoga? The right version could do wonders for your back and neck and help unlock the vertebrae and surrounding muscles to help create a more erect posture, which can get compromised by sitting at a computer, staring at the iphone, and life in general. That stress can lead to headaches and more. As we age we tend to slump forward, that causes a lot of stress on the shoulders etc and then there is a ripple effect. If you are interested in yoga (I do it all the time - and still hit the gym 4-5 times a week), look up Yoga with Adrienne on youtube - she has a great channel with hundreds of different vids - from 12 minutes up to over an hour. Yoga is a game changer. I didn't 'get it' until I finally tried it - it is incredible, both physically and mentally. Also, has he had his eyes checked?Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:36 pmJoking, or not. Obviously you wouldn't get arrested for the mask, but your point is valid. also, you shoulda said "yeah, the doctor says it's stress related to the Seahawks drafting woes..."

That would've been the greatest comeback answer of all time.

Not to downplay this stuff, but I wonder how many 'threats' are idle threats by kids wanting to get out of school early, and something like this could make that happen. Hey, kids to stupid stuff, we've all done stupid stuff as a kid, so it doesn't seem far fetched that kids would try to copycat a hoax to get out of school.Walla Walla Dawg II wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:54 pmSeems December 17th has 'school shootings' attached to it.

Re: Covid-19
I do agree with you Auro, I would have never considered implying a bomb-scare at any school I went to. Yes, I have flipped of a teacher or two, but would never sink to the level that kids currently do.
Re: Covid-19
There is a new class of drug for Chronic migraine called CGRPs that are quite efficacious. I forecasted one of them for a company in Bothell called AlderBio. Looks like they are still only indicated for Adults though but he is getting close to adulthood if its your oldest right?Michael K. wrote: ↑Fri Dec 17, 2021 4:36 pmJoking, or not.
