OT: Great performances
Re: OT: Great performances
Doobie Bros. were great, too. Saw them in concert before they became famous! I think they were the warmup band for CSN&Y. Bad Finger was good, but not great.

I know you pussies you won't watch this, you'll post to react, not to listen or hear, and that's a major shame, but Patty Smythe absolutely KILLS this...
Seriously... holy shit. This is next-fucking level.

She can belt it out!
Re: OT: Great performances
Unfortunately I couldn't find a good version of The Wilson Sisters performing Whole Lotta Love but they were at least comparable. And listening to them in their early days at Parkers on Aurora was a treat. Anyway, this is poor quality and not nearly as good as what they did back in the mid-70's in a small venue.

Re: OT: Great performances
was that Heart or a Heart 'tribute' band? Did you see Heart playing Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center Honors? Best cover you'll ever see - and they did it right in front of Zeppelin who were the guest of honor. Seriously - if you have not seen this... prepare to be blown away.ddraig wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 3:39 pmUnfortunately I couldn't find a good version of The Wilson Sisters performing Whole Lotta Love but they were at least comparable. Re: OT: Great performances
She is so damn hot in this performance. She doesn't have the range and power that Ann Wilson does - but she still pulls this off with pure passion. Did you know she married John McEnroe?D-train wrote: ↑Thu Jul 22, 2021 9:02 pmGreat stuff. She was 30 then and 64 now. Married to John McEnroe....
No accounting for taste.
but you fall in love with the one you fall in love with. I still don't see why my wife chose me.
