How anyone can be a card carrying Democrat and not be embarrassed by it is beyond me. Yeah, Trump is a loon and says stupid things, but at least his policies are sound. The only 2 platform the Dems are going to run on in 2020 is "Not Being Trump" and "Everything For Free"....no real solutions to any issues. I don't think those are going to be very effective.

I think the decline of the booming middle class has far more to do with coming off the gold standard in '71 in order to finance more warfare as well as the rise of automation. Just look at inflation numbers. Then, take a look at how Amazon has killed so many local jobs. Many of the jobs of yesteryear are simply GONE and not coming back nor being replaced. They aren't being worked by immigrants, they're being worked by robots.

If we could break through the fiat money scam, the university scam and the healthcare scam, then it would allow for both a prosperous middle class and a flourishing immigrant population. Instead, we're dealing with an insane rich / poor dichotomy. Many middle class Americans are slipping into the poor category; they're employed, but just barely affording housing, car, and a cell phone.

Millions of Illegal Aliens are working in construction and "home services" with "Fly By Night" contractors who do not pay anything into the system. These were jobs that used to support full sized families with nice homes. The emergency rooms all over the USA have huge wait times thanks to Illegals who use MY SYSTEM for their routine healthcare needs.
Many "middle class" people would have twice as much cash to spend on the necessities if they didn't throw so much money away every month on "entertainment", their own impulsive stupidity, self indulgences and laziness. I'm talking about people who spend $20 a day on coffee, gum, snacks at work..$40 a day on beer and dope....X amount daily on Electronic Babysitters, pay others to wash their car, take care of their yard, etc...it all adds up. Frugal and "Pennywise" are terms that you can only use jokingly to describe the people that you constantly make excuses for.
Even just $2 a day spent frivolously adds up to a set of tires or a brake job at the end of the year.

There's no question that behavioral and consumption patterns change what returns each individual will obtain from the system. However, that doesn't mean the system isn't still a debt-based fiat money ponzi scheme creating rapid levels of inflation and a rich / poor dichotomy that's best described as feudalism. For the feudal lords, they're perfectly happy to drive their Bentley through Starubucks for daily coffee and pay a crew of 10 to manicure their mansion lawns, hedges, and flowerbeds as long as their net worth keeps skyrocketing. But, you're right that many folks are throwing gasoline on the fire by creating avoidable debt. Obviously much of that is driven through media messaging and advertising. One major one I see is taking on debt for the $50k automobile and then trading for a new one every 3 years. You think cups of coffee add up!
