It destroyed the left's attempt at weaponizing the justice system to imprision their political opponent in an election, which I believe was the single biggest mistake any political party has ever made in election history. It also completely destroyed the notion that Roe v. Wade was any factor in the election. It also destroyed the idea that you can ignore the American public, hide from every interview, hide from every podcast and never answer a single question and be voted in as President, no matter what gender or race you are.Seattle or Bust wrote: ↑Tue Jan 28, 2025 12:31 am
All said, Trump's victory didn't destroy anyone or anything. "Woke" policies, or policies pertaining to human rights, remained popular... even in red states.
100%. Trump had no problem doing long form interviews - he's been a strong public speaker for decades - he's been doing it his whole life - he's not afraid of answering questions - Kamala would not that - all she did was internet-meme quality embarrassing word salad as she hid behind her handlers who's ENTIRE strategy is ignore policy, ignore she did NOTHING about all the issues Americans were concerned about for 4 years, while trying to message 'she's different than Biden' despite standing behind every single policy fail under him. I mean, who the fuck did they think was buying this nonsense? The dems actually thought Americans were this stupid - their entire party has collapsed because at the end of the day - they are absolutely insulting the average American and the average American has had enough. I mean, the fucking AUDACITY and arrogance to think you can avoid ANY policy debate, any real interview, any real questioning, and pretending slandering your opponent is a winning strategy. Not only did they run on nothing and lose - Trump's numbers are through the roof right now - he's doing the opposite of what these idiots did - and the numbers show that's exactly what Americans wanted - it's hilarious to see those still living in denial - these fools are the dinosaurs after the asteroid. Biden and Harris ran on NO policy, period. Trump did. Remember that.
This is less about political affiliation, left right, dem/republican than it is about basic common sense. Look how many Dem's are leaving the party. No one's leaving the republican party - the exodus is all dems. I mean, Jesus Christ, read the tea leaves. There is a huge cultural shift happening. Trump is potentially in line to be none of the most popular president's in a long long time - not because of fan boys - because he's doing shit for the average american - the opposite of what the dems have been doing for 20 years now - they only serve corporate america and use identity politics as a distraction from their being held hostage by their corporate donor overlords.
