Most of the kids I teach (Middle Schoolers) are not White. And most of them ARE vaccinated. In our politically charged country, these statistics will somehow prove that we are all racist even though the vaccine is free to anyone who wants it!

You know, historically, White people, especially conservative White people, have not defended minorities against racism. Is this concern that minorities are now disparaged by Biden (or Democrats, or the Left) a form of "wokeness"? That is a serious question. (Again, historically, conservative White people dragged their feet - they certainly did not lead when it came to things like equal access and voting rights.)

Back when each of the main parties had both conservatives and liberals. Lots of conservative southern Democrats then (after Civil Rights legislation) smithed parties and became Republicans.

But we all need to realize that, those were different times, and to judge the history with todays standards isn't fair.
