Believe nuclear power is still pretty popular in some European countries, France being the most agreeable. Each country sets it's own policy. They are faced with replacing aging power plants. Countries like china and India are where there probably be expanding nuclear energy

The disasters set the whole thing back decades. If it wasn't for 3 mile island, Chernobyl and Japan after the Earthquake/tsunami it would probably be the leading power source in the world?

Sure, but the disasters were a function of issues with it. I guess I was thinking Europe wasn't as turned off as America is generally. Though it's hard to generalize about nuclear power and Europe. There was also Whoops and the satsop nuclear failure, you familiar with that? That was strictly economic.

The Three Mile Island accident was 44 years ago. You think technology is better now? The only people who think nuclear power is the devil are the idiots in the media, the brain-dead greenies, and the Marxists who want to send us back into the Stone Age and destroy the Country. If any of those three would actually think about how we're all going to drive around in $80,000 EV's with the current electrical grid, they'd push upgrades to the grid before they get all hot and bothered about Climate Change and EV's.
