I can understand why some people hate Trump but I can fathom why a single soul would LOVE Harris.

I don't love Harris. As I've said before, she's not Trump and that's compelling to me and I think the bulk of people who are going to vote for her. I think the same applied to Biden... nobody loved Biden, but they were so tired of Trump.

I'm OK with the status quo for the next 4 years if the alternative is potential chaos. It's my hope that we get some young, sane people running for office who have actual visions for progress in future elections.

I hope the country can finally return to a sense of normalcy with Trump gone.

He was gone for four years and there was complete Chaos. He isn't normal but the country will be more normal like it was from 2017-2019.

Objectively - I see Harris fading fast - she is so out of her league and it's pretty obvious to anyone being even remotely objective. When her safety net friends in the media are turning on her, when SNL is mocking her, when she's now known as 'word salad city' for her inability to ever answer a question, when the only card she has is "trump bad' instead of ANY policy ideas, when Trump, not her, is the one going on the worlds biggest podcast, it's time to read the tea leaves.

Remember - Harris has NO policy to stand on, she did nothing for 4 years, she was not nominated by the Dems, she was installed because Biden's numbers were cratering. Anyone with any bit of objectivity and rational thinking sees what in happening. You know who doesn't? The dude wanting you to pay his bills.

Choosing someone who you know has no policy standing and is utterly unqualified, is like a coach picking a QB even though he knows he can't throw the ball or read a playbook because he's 'mad' at the better option - it simply makes no sense at all and is ultimately an act of self destruction.

I couldn't care less about the value. It never crashed and is as functional and more than it was we he bought it and it is not longer riddled with censorship.

Instead it's riddled with porn and conspiracy theorists needing constant community notes.

1. You are asking for people to pay for far more of your bills with massive tax cuts. I have asked for the government to adjust student loans to more reasonable costs based on a variety of factors and to remove interest on government loans.
2. I am not triggered by people selling hats on the side of the road. I think it's emblematic of the cult of Trump that exists and I think it's sad.

For the millionth time, I'm not asking for the government to "pay for my student loans." I'm asking for them to adjust them to fairer rates based on a variety of factors. I'm happy to pay back what my degree is worth.

Yeah, I did sign up for my student loans. I realize folks who are 50+ that didn't need a degree for entry into lucrative spaces of the work force aren't gonna get it. Buying a home for 14 raspberries while sporting a high school degree had to be wonderful in 1993.

For the millionth time, I'm not asking for the government to "pay for my student loans." I'm asking for them to adjust them to fairer rates based on a variety of factors. I'm happy to pay back what my degree is worth.

Yeah, I did sign up for my student loans. I realize folks who are 50+ that didn't need a degree for entry into lucrative spaces of the work force aren't gonna get it. Buying a home for 14 raspberries while sporting a high school degree had to be wonderful in 1993.

I never had student dept. I worked and joined the Army reserve and Got the GI Bill. My blue collar parents who combined to make about $50k a year paid about half. Tuition was reasonable back then. The blame is firmly on the Colleges and Universities that jacked tuition because they knew students could pay almost unlimited amounts due unchecked student loans. Let Harvard with their $50 billion endowment and other ridiculously wealthy schools pay for their sins.

I agree. Tuition was reasonable back then.

Education shouldn't act as a barrier to your success. Which is my whole point. Like I said, I'm happy to pay a fair rate for my degree. I'm not asking for a free education, just fair value. However that gets worked out.

We don't get it because we would have taken a look at the cost of the student loan and weighed it against the future returns before taking the loan in the first place.

If your degree's not worth what you paid for it, that's YOUR fault. You wanted to be in that "lucrative space of the work force". So lucrative you can't pay back what you borrowed to get there... Makes a ton of sense.
