Anybody watch them on KONG TV? Pretty cool. I wonder how many cats were killed during their performance!

They need to switch over to electric planes. They make a lot less noise and are more environmentally friendly.

No kidding, one cat dies that the Blue Angels probably didn't even cause, and protestors use that as a talking point to get them banned? There are some really miserable people out there who are just starving for company.

I was surprised that the Blue Angels AND SeaFair were still part of the Seattle culture. Great memories as a kid. Pops took me to my first race around 7. Still remember the smell of jet fuel....and beer. We made wooden hydroplanes to drag behind our bikes and had races.

I wish the Air Show would bring in more "vintage" aircraft. I know there are a couple of P51 Mustangs in the area and I'm certain one or two F4U Corsairs would be cool. And then there is one B17 Flying Fortress still out there. Just a couple of fly-bys with a Rolls-Royce Merlin's screaming overhead would be really cool!

There's nothing quite like unlimited hydroplane racing!

Slo Mo, Miss Bardahl, Exide and so many more. Nothing like it in MN.
And we went to the Sammamish Slew races...smaller inboards....saw one hit the bridge piling....instant toothpicks.

We have a restaurant here called Doolittles. Read the book. Modified B-25's off an aircraft carrier and then ditched after the raid (WW2).

Amazing stuff.

Unlimited hydros is 5 events for 2025. It's such an amazing spectacle that's performed only 5 times per year and only a handful of racing teams participate. It's amazing that it exists. Everyone knows about NASCAR and F1. Even offshore powerboat racing I think is far more popular than the hydros. It's such a mind-blowing, niche sport. I love those rooster tails!

Looks like there's only 6 teams, but two of them have two boats. So, a total of 8 boats.

When I was a kid in Seattle it was Miss Budweiser, Circus Circus, and O'Boy Oberto.

Miss Budweiser always looked the best and often was the winner as I recall.
