Our public education system [as well as the news media] are training children to believe that their schools are "War Zones".
It's just a matter of time until our most effeminately / pathetically raised and physically inept generation no longer have the mental or emotional resolve to defend themselves with any sort of a weapon.
This is how you disarm a society without firing a single shot. Raise a society full of defenseless, helpless, totally disconnected from reality.... PANSIES.

Its SOP at our Church. Security, armed, trained, discreet. No doubt they have reviewed this video and others.
Churches are easy access, soft targets. Hats off to that security team.

That church was soft for about 5 seconds.

More about the hero and unfortunately the shooter

Why does the shooter need to be named at all? The media making them famous is almost the equivalent of Muslim suicide bombers thinking they are getting 72 virgins. Shooters believe they will be famous in death...don't allow them to be.

I mean, ideally you would like to be in a spot where nobody is opening fire on a church to begin with.

Oregon looks like a great place to avoid hot lead. If you can make it to Hawaii, then even less chance of meeting your maker via the bullet.

Worrying about getting killed in a mass shooting is like worrying about dying in a plane crash.

The man who took him down is not a hero and he says so himself. A hero is someone who saves lives without taking lives and who helps others without hurting others. What he did was simply what had to be done and while he is not a hero he is honorable and thankfully a good shot.
Agree with you on the shooter though. Just treat him like you do someone who runs onto the field at a sporting event (except the ones who get tased and fall down in comedic fashion, those people need to be named for everyone to laugh at).
