Country's currency exchange rate?

I was wondering if anybody knew what country's currency that this was? If so, how much is it in American U.S. dollars?

My guess was Mongolian, but I'm not 100% positive. 2ndly, is it safe to purchase, even if its under a different currency?

This is the only place I can find this product. Amazon is out. I've used it for over 10 years.
