First, I just want to give a shout out to DT for setting up this site as the ST forum was going down. I was typing away oblivious and DT would tell me to come to the new site, "this ship is going down." It's also great to see so many guys (you too grandma) posting here that I've been reading for years.

The real virus is not Covid-19 it's Marxism and we're deeply infected at this point. We need a new sort of Dr. Fauci to help explain the outbreak.

The socialists use the term racist to label people as bad. However, there's no equal counter weight. Call some one on the left a Marxist and they're liable to take it as a compliment. You think you're drawing from a term that describes the worst of humanity -- Hitler and Stalin and Pol Pot. They don't see it.

Being a Marxist is degrees worse than say a member of the KKK. Even when white supremacy was king in America there was no cancel culture. The civil rights movement never would have happened if the KKK operated by the woke standards of today.

I started this thread to discuss how to counteract the narrative. What we're really talking about is pure idea. Words. Concepts. Marxism is a bad idea... what's the best way exposed it? How can it be mocked and laughed at like Mel Brooks did so well? What do people need to hear/believe in order realize that Marxism should be avoided like the plague?

Given that these Marxists seem to derive from the radical feminist movement and the black power movement along with a sprinkling of foreign agitators, I would think a campaign against these college departments in women's studies and african-american studies (or ethnic studies) would be extremely critical in order to root out the main radicalizing influences in America today. How would that be done? It would require strong political pressure from the constituents (i.e. American public) upon Congress and the President to investigate these programs on every campus and enact legislation against hate-mongering in academia. In order to get to this point, things will have to get far, far worse in terms of the taking over of major cities by these Marxist thugs and the imposition of a level of political correctness, surveillance, and censorship that pushes people over the edge. Also, the K-12 school system would need overhauling, especially with regard to history curriculums. There is also the problem with the major media organs and where their funding is coming from. For instance, if it can be determined that the government of China is influencing what news is reported and how it is reported through bribery, that should result in immediate actions such as raids and shut-downs.

A simpler solution, although one with likely very dangerous ramifications, would be a declaration of martial law by the President along with the suspension of habeas corpus allowing the arrests of dangerous political figures that have advocated a tearing down of our national identity along with the arrests of media figures that dispense propaganda such as the vilification of the police and founding fathers. This could, of course, spark heavy violence over a period of years and would threaten the viability of our Constitution and system of government.

A third, and final, option if things got bad enough and reached a tipping point towards a total Marxist overthrow would be a military coup of some sort. But that would rely on there being enough loyalists in top positions in the military and that wouldn't be the case under a Democrat President. This is why this coming election is so important.

Otherwise, there will likely be a Civil War and everyone loses in that case.

I have no faith in top end solutions... winning elections, rooting out the Marxists. Not when they're already firmly entrenched, willing to cheat and lie and do everything they can to subvert the system.

Yes! That's the tender spot. I think it's possible to organize a reverse woke campaign if you will. Just like the radicals, organize lots of people to get in the face of these Marxists organizing the studies. They're all weak and dumb. They live in a bubble. They never have to deal with the same pressure put on their opponents. My bet is that they would fold quickly. Look at how quickly Jenny Durkan flipped on CHAZ as soon as they started marching to her home.

Some of this reverse activism is already happening -- flash mobs. The anti-Marxists are by necessity Trump supporters. The woke crowd has all sorts of imaginings of who these people are. They don't know that's it's at least 40% of the people they already know. Imagine the happy socialists going about their day painting BLM on the streets, then when they get back to their office they have a thousand people screaming at them to resign.

I'm assuming they don't teach kids these things in schools anymore with all the socialist/marxist movements going on in this country. We fought socialism/marxism for 45 years, defeated it, and now we want to become what we defeated (the irony). Btw, Hitler was a fascist not a marxist which are opposite ends of the spectrum.

I'm placing great hopes on the NFL because people need to stop being afraid to gather in large groups. The fear factor among football fans is pretty low, so I'm hoping the stadiums will become packed again.... as least as much as the Marxist will allow... as they bow to the new Negro anthem -- did you hear about that? Kaepernick and the band must be playing.
