There's one pronoun combo that fits every deranged, mixed up, deceived, idealistic, bombastic, selfish, vengeful, clue-less liberal who insists on an alter-reality, invites totalitarianism, denies truth, and thinks the world deserves them something.

SHE/IT.

Does anyone know if I need to get a Covid jab to travel to France and Italy this summer?

I'm scheduled to go to France in June and nobody there has told me anything about this.

Related to European travel, the ETIAS (European Travel Information and Authorisation System) is supposed to start in 2025. It has nothing to do with Covid, but rather is supposed to be about security. It will be a new requirement for any travel without a visa. There will be an online application and a fee that is planned to be around 7 Euros for 3 years.

It's the flu.

They killed people by giving them Remdesivir and putting them on ventilators.

Very similar scheme to the ESTA that us overseas visitors need when we come over to the US.

And security, my arse ( not shooting messenger  ). This is definitely a scheme introduced post-Brexit to punish Britain for leaving the EU. For the first time ever we would have to get one of these Visas to visit mainland Europe.

It will generate probably US$ 200 million per year from UK citizens alone. So I guess we have caused it. Sorry, again for our indiscretions.

It will be the first time for us (from the U.S.) will need a visa to visit mainland Europe as well. Do you think ETIAS is specifically to punish Britain, and Yanks are just collateral damage? ;)

Well the EU spent the last 50 years promoting frictionless travel, freedom of movement of people and the aim was to have no borders across the continent - a United States of Europe if you like. Then after the UK referendum to leave, they suddenly come up with this idea. Its a bit suspicious.

Which part of France are you heading? I've only been to the touristy parts to be honest.

Only Paris for us. Then it's off to Milan, Rome, and Naples before going back to CDG and home.
