I was just thinking about this. We here combined have probably gone to well over 1000 mlb games in the past 3-4 decades. Has anyone EVER heard a fan yell the N word at a player during a game??? I call BS. Junior High and High School students use the N-Word to identify their friends. I try to explain to them that people have died so that the word becomes obsolete, but to no avail. It's cool to be called that by one's bro's.
And a few years back, a politician was chastised by the press ( you would think these people would understand the English Language) and had to apologize for using the word, "niggardly." If you don't know what the word means, look it up. It has nothing to do with skin color.

If whities perpetuated the problem by calling each other honky in every song, it would gain traction also.

Simple...change the mascots name to ni&&er and Brinson can have his cake and eat it too.
