Frank Zappa with what he might have considered his best band cover Stairway to Heaven 1988

Gerry Rafferty - Baker Street. If you know, you know. Absolutely blistering horn work. A song with major sax appeal.

Enjoy!

I've never been a big van of AC/DC, but this is a great remake of Thunderstruck.

These guys are very talented.
Malcolm Young wrote some of the catchiest riffs in rock. I'm a bit of an AC/DC purist, but the Brian Johnson material has really grown on me.

They way they layer the guitars, the straight-ahead simplicity of it all, the band makes no apologies for its sound, nor should they. This one grabbed me recently. And the video is awesome.

Need to resuscitate this thread.

In honor of Florida... gators, pythons, DeSantis, three guitar attacks, and bands named after hookers who hack up thier clients.

Molly Hatchet - Flirtin' With Disaster

Danny Jo Brown's vocals, that three guitar attack, and the dude on drums absolutely crushing this. Also, this was filmed in LA, so that's pretty cool. No need to be in the shadow of big brother Skynyrd, these guys were really good. Sad side note; all original members are dead. Even worse - they still somehow voted for Brandon.

Seattle legend Chris Cornell joined forces with Rage Against the Machine to form one of the most powerful rock combos ever, Audioslave.
Their self titled debut album came out in 2002 - produced by the uber legend, Rick Rubin.
This was the first single released off of it - and it is beyond fire. This is what a Super Bowl halftime performance should look like.

Hey did you see this? I throw my Seahawk hat on the stage at 33:25 and Kevin Martin signs it and has his band mate sign it and then the stage hand throws it back to us at the 34:30 mark and it lands perfectly on Lynda's head. She started crying. You can see me put might hands up Touchdown style when the hat sticks the landing. lol
