Hypocracy

Post by ddraig » Thu Sep 16, 2021 3:43 am

OK, folks, nothing to see here. The Met in New York held a gala event. $30,000 per plate for dinner. AOC went to the event and took her boyfriend. $60,000! She makes $180,000 a year. How in the fuck did she pay for it? And on top of that, she wore a dress that had "Tax the Rich" plastered all over it! Then too, all of the beautiful people in attendance were unmasked. Guess what? The "help" all had to wear masks! If God was fair, He's conjure up some payback for these hypocrites and visit them all with Covid-19 just out of hubris.

Any of you guys ever read Animal Farm? Some animals are more equal than others! Remember, AOC is a socialist apologist (to put it mildly). If AOC was an honest person, she would have donated that $60,000 to a charity, but I guess you can't expect much more from a Democrat Congresswoman. But in the interest of equal time, there were probably also some Republicans in attendance. Which only proves that most of those who "represent" us in government are really only in it for themselves!

She didn't pay a dime. She was invited like other NY politicians. She paid $0. But keep the faux outrage going.

So at 30K a plate, she got an added benefit of being a congresswoman. This would count as a donation to her and she must claim it on her taxes.
Do you think the IRS will worry about it if she doesn't?

[enter your comment on Trump's tax return, but i'd like to see AOC's return]

You know all of the "help" had to be vaccinated to be there but they had to wear masks and the guests didn't. That is like middle ages feudal system Royalty/Peasant slave/master type shit right there.

And just so everyone knows, I am not outraged by it at all. That is what our system has become. The wealthy, the elected, the poor, and the rest of us. Where I will get outraged is if she doesn't claim it as a donation on her taxes.......or would it be a bribe.

So very true. And another outlet for outrage at the double standard.

Tax the Rich: I guess 87% of total Income taxes paid by the top 25% isn't enough.
The top 10 percent of earners bore responsibility for over 71 percent of all income taxes paid and the top 25 percent paid 87 percent of all income taxes.

All it is, is pandering to the majority of voters. Obviously the majority don't consider themselves rich.

That being said I certainly wouldn't need to be asked twice to pull up that Tax the Rich dress up and bend her over.
