Notice how a photo journalism crew just happened to be at Mexico's southern border the other day when a tearful woman and her child were being held at gun point by a Mexican Border Patrolman.

Some feel the borders are there to keep unwanted humans from entering our precious space. Others feel that the borders are there to contain the tax slaves.

Flipping the bird is not the same as flipping a gang sign. Gang life is crazy. You're talking about real killers. It's a serious issue, and they rope in kids to join. I do feel that legalizing drugs is how you cut off the lifeline to the gangs. It could theoretically bring prices down, too, depending on how much the government taxes it. Lower prices on the street would help us deal with our opiate epidemic. Of course, we want to get people off the drugs. But, initially, we want them to have cheap access to the drugs. As long as the drug abuser has cheap access, then at least we can avoid violent crime, robberies, etc. I think you would even see opiate users better able to hang on to jobs and homes if they had cheap and easy access to pharmaceutical grade opiates.
