I was about to post something about this, and call me jaded if you want:

It seems highly suspicious that so very close to a bellwether closely-contested election that the Dems can ill-afford to lose, a "highly credible" ISIS threat is suddenly announced in Virginia.

I'll be back to take my licks if solid facts emerge about this, but right now I am calling bullshit and feel that this is an attempt to show that Sleepy Joe is on the job -- to help bolster Biden's buddy McAuliffe on Election Day.

A few "Nazi" sympathizers showed up at a Youngkin rally the other day. They were carrying signs saying they were from Charlottesville. Got their faces on Face book. And they created a twitterstorm because as everyone knows, ALL Republicans are Nazis.

But funny thing happened on the way to their shitstorm. Seems, Facebook has a facial recognition algorithm and some enterprising individual ran the faces of the supposed "Nazis" into the algorthm and lo and behold, the "Nazis" were mainly Democrat operatives and even one was the treasurer of the State Dem Party. All of their tweets were suddenly deleted and now Facebook is saying they are going to hold off doing anything until they can verify the new information. Imagine that. Facebook and Twitter trying to cover up a story that will harm Democrats! Who woulda thunk?

Some "Nazis" were from the Lincoln Project. The Lincoln Project is basically a bunch of former Republicans who are to the left of your average RINO.

So answer this question. Why would the Lincoln project who are supposedly just anti Trump but are Republicans want a Dem Governor in VA. Youngkin is NOTHING like Trump. Literally zero similarities other than both technically Republicans.

I don't get the Lincoln Project. Yes, I get "never Trump" Republicans because I'm pretty similar politically to lots of them. But it seemed like the "project" spiraled out of control.

Youngkin is an attractive candidate and I expect him to win. That said, similarities to Trump include:
1. Opposing vaccine and mask mandates.
2. Misrepresenting what opponents say (e.g., McAuliffe would ban the Pledge of Alliegiance).
3. Using strawman "culture war" stances such as claiming that Critical Race Theory is widely taught in Virginia (it's not).
4. Opposing the goal of becoming carbon neutral.

And there is also the obvious about "not a politician."

The problem is the guy didn't have a good grasp of what the term actually means.

We've all heard the, "white man bad" mantra CRT is actually about, but he wasn't prepared for the question.
