And the Brandon party took it hook line and sinker
Re: Russian Collusion
Russian collusion was debunked by the FBI at the very beginning. They looked into it and dismissed it when Clinton's attorney's went to them with it. Sadly, the FBI didn't go public and announce this as it would impede the Trump Derangement syndrome taking over the media. Anyone remember Schiff, for three years, kept dangling that carrot out there "Oh, this is it! This time it's really it!" Morons and fools ate that shit up - but everyone knew it was a big fat nothing burger but it was part of the deep state's tactic to sabotage Trump. Yes, the FBI is part of the deep state. Doesn't matter if you like trump or hate him or are indifferent (I'm indifferent - I ONLY care about policy), Trump was treated unfairly. The VA governer kept blaming Trump during the recent race - and it blew up in his face. No one is buying this nonsense anymore - especially now seeing the total disaster Biden is - he's single handedly making Trump and all GOP look good. There's a Sun Tzu quote about never interrupt your enemy when they are making a mistake... Dems are making HUGE mistakes and miscalculations about the mood of the country - and all that ails us right now is a direct result of their failed policies right now. The distractions they keep making up aren't working anymore.
Re: Russian Collusion
I don't agree with your conclusion. Yeah the Steele report was bullshit. But that wasn't the basis of what the special prosecutor looked at, and it wasn't the basis of what the Senate Intelligence Committee looked at. And remember that the Senate Intelligence Committee published its report when the Senate had a Republican majority.
The Senate Intelligence Committee on Tuesday issued a report urging President Trump to warn the public about efforts by foreign governments to interfere in U.S. elections and take steps to prevent hostile nations from using social media to meddle in the 2020 vote.
The recommendations were part of an 85-page report that outlined Russia's large-scale effort to interfere in the 2016 presidential election. The group of bipartisan senators described the social media activities of the Kremlin-backed Internet Research Agency (IRA) as part of a "broader, sophisticated, and ongoing information warfare campaign designed to sow discord in American politics and society."
The senators noted the Russians' social media effort was a "vastly more complex and strategic assault on the United States than was initially understood,” with planning well underway in 2014.
The report said the Russians' social media campaign was "overtly and almost invariably supportive" of Trump and designed to harm Democrat Hillary Clinton.
Source of article: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/bipart ... 0-electionTuesday's report concluded that Russian activities were focused largely on socially divisive issues like race, immigration, and guns, in "an attempt to pit Americans against one another and against their government." It also found the Russian efforts targeted black Americans more than any other racial group.
"Russia is waging an information warfare campaign against the U.S. that didn't start and didn't end with the 2016 election," said Senate Intelligence Committee Chairman Richard Burr, R-N.C. "By flooding social media with false reports, conspiracy theories and trolls, and by exploiting existing divisions, Russia is trying to breed distrust of our democratic institutions and our fellow Americans."
Re: Russian Collusion
It was the basis of two attempts at impeachment.
Lib clowns ate it up it even though it was BS from the start.

lol! Nothing in what you posted has anything to do with collusion. maybe you don't understand what it is.gil wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 9:58 pmI don't agree with your conclusion. Clinton's lawyer went to the Justice Department and the FBI claiming that trump was colluding with the Red Menace via some 'special server' and when the FBI investigated that - they dismissed any collusion theories, any special servers, any of this collusion nonsense. There was never any collusion. Durham has now indicted the Clinton lawyer for lying to the FBI about Russian collusion. Try and keep up - what you posted has NOTHING to do with the accusation that Trump was 'conspiring with the Russians'. What you posted is that the Russians social media sabotage was meant to help Trump - that is ENTIRELY DIFFERENT THAN TRUMP COLLUDING WITH THEM TO DO SO. Do you understand that?
Do you read with the objective of understanding what is being said before responding? No, of course you don't - you read to respond while never understanding what you are responding to. Look at the title of the thread. Literally no one is talking about the dossier or the Ruskie/China social media sabotage routines. Clearly you do not understand the difference between state sponsored sabotage and party-to-party collusion.
Russian collusion was a hoax - the attorney that took it to the FBI is under a formal indictment precisely for that. Fact.
The dossier was a hoax. Fact.
The Russians and Chinese are always fucking with us. Russians have been waging info wars against us for 50 years. Fact.
None of those add up to TRUMP COLLUDING WITH THEM. Fact.
But, I am super excited that you disagreed with something I did not claim! when you do book reports, do you just skip a few chapters and think no one will notice? Do you wanna tell us how Joe Rogan took horse dewormer? You literally responded to my post with a strawman argument that you made up, meaning you are arguing with yourself - and you never debunked or challenged anything I said. You, sir, are batting 1000!

I'm still laughing about your post months back using a completely outdated and debunked COVID testing study that you didn't even bother to read before posting. Again, it's like you post anything to try and be defiant - while not even reading what you are posting as it relates to the topic. It's consistent and it's bizarre and instead of an interesting conversation, we're stuck pointing out the blatant flaw in your research, which is your responsibility, when trying to make a point. We all welcome your input, but when arguing about collusion, please at least understand what it is and what you are arguing about

Re: Russian Collusion
And realistically, the Russian Social Media campaign was far less detrimental to our electoral process than our own "legitimate" social media.gil wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 9:58 pmI don't agree with your conclusion. And I'm really surprised you haven't repeated the bogus report that Trump told people to drink bleach to cure covid!

Yes, I see what you are saying: I emphasized the social media effort in my post (and I think that is a huge, ongoing problem, because the purpose of the effort is to make us hate each other, rather than just disagree with each other). And Facebook's algorithms enable this. But back to collusion.auroraave wrote: ↑Thu Nov 04, 2021 10:53 pmlol! This is the Senate Intelligence Committee report: https://www.intelligence.senate.gov/sit ... lume5.pdf It has over 900 pages of material that, with the exception of the senator from Idaho, all Republicans signed off on, as well as all Democrats. These 900 pages contain lots of information about contacts and communication between people from the Trump campaign (and future administration) and various Russian actors. Was it "collusion"? The Republicans on the Senate Intelligence Committee, in their "additional views" at the end, said "no collusion". The Democrats, in theirs, said "this is what collusion looks like."
As I said starting out my post, the Steele report was bullshit. I don't care how enthusiastic some anti-Trump people were about it. The Senate Intelligence Committee Report concluded that the FBI gave too much credence to it. But the Senate Intelligence Committee report did NOT report anything from Steele as factual, that is, Steele was not a source for the 900 plus pages that all the senators (except one) signed off on.
Now as to "collusion". I think it was the Mueller Report that pointed out that "collusion" is not defined by Federal Law, and what that report (Part 1 investigated was whether there was an illegal conspiracy. And they concluded there was nothing that was considered as such.
My conclusion is that there was a lot of contact between Trump people and Russia people. Investigating that was legitimate. The Steele stuff turned out to be a distraction, because people are saying that if Steele was bullshit, everything else is bullshit. If there had been no Steele stuff, there still should have been an investigation.
