Started this book the other night and, well, it's a tough read. Tough, because it's such an eye opener. It's engaging, makes reference to the Matrix film, touches on so many things about systematic enslavement, the elites maintaining a caste system to this day, holding on tight to their money and power. Highly recommended.
When Neo goes to visit the Oracle, they're sitting on a park bench. Off in the distance are some geese and the Oracle says something to the effect of, 'Notice those geese? They're a program. And the best programs go undetected.'
On a related note, has anyone watched, 'The Good Lord Bird? It's a series based on John Brown, the abolitionist. Pretty interesting.
