.if the Ukraine was a member of NATO I doubt very seriously Putin is attacking it. This was her quote...We stand together with our NATO Allies... that doesn't involve defending the Ukraine. That was never on the table. The threat of sanctions was what Putin was up against. If he was to attack a NATO ally it be more than sactions. I think Putin is becoming as deranged as Stalin, but I think he hopefully understands an attack on a NATO ally is the beginning of WW3
