State of the country
Re: State of the country
And we now have a "President" threatening to bring down F-15's on those "domestic terrorists" that show up for Trump rallies. Remember, this administration is purging mostly conservative military personnel for not vaxing and recruitment from conservative areas of the country is way down. So to feed the fires of conspiracy theorists everywhere, is Biden creating a military that supports him and the Dims and NOT the Constitution? January, 2025, could be very interesting!

Not surprised. Its what tyrants do. And look who Field Marshall Garland has at his disposal to terrorize the law abiding population.
1) repeat offenders/ violent criminals.
2) sexual perverts grooming US children.
3) illegal aliens/ cartels
4) record number of drug addled homeless.
5) carjackings and retail theft at record numbers.
6) and the coming IRS audits (of conservatives)

Never before has so much contempt for America come from our own leadership.

Disney is producing a new "cartoon" titled "Little Demon." The hero of the cartoon is a little girl called "Antichrist!"
"The series features demonic witchcraft, pagan rituals, gratuitous blood, gore and nudity, and judging by the trailer can easily be considered pornographic by definition."
It will be seen on FX. How's that for the State of the Country?

Guess this won't hit the main stream media because it doesn't fit the narrative that only "Republicans are domestic terrorists".

It was in a speech he made August 30 or so.
Biden said, “For those brave right-wing Americans who say it’s all about keeping America independent and safe, if you want to fight against the country you need an F-15, you need something a little more than a gun.”
Obviously he's right. You can use your guns, I'll use our F-15's. Including the words, "right-wing" made it an implied threat. And it seems to me that since 2020, it hasn't been the right that is a threat to our country, but the left (Antifa, BLM).

This post also sums up the UK, especially the bits in red. Crime also increasing here too. Inflation at its highest since the 70s. People are totally pissed off.seattlefan-daBronx wrote: ↑Fri Aug 26, 2022 4:42 pmJust curious as to how you folks see the state of the country in general.
I know we are divided politically but for example here in NYC life in general is just getting worse.
Cost of living, rents high, insurance high, food high, gas ridiculous, ect.
Petty crimes are back....hit and runs, speeding, muggings for clothing and phones, car theft, beating up seniors.
Almost every day nationally they are publishing criminal acts committed in the city on the internet.
Attached is a clip of some of the violence that is popping up on a regular basis now.
The Bronx is just exploding with new people and is about to burst.
The clip is from my neighborhood close to the Parkchester train station.
I'm normally civil and get along with everyone / would wait for the cops to show up but this might be the exception...

I live in a blue state and the biggest city. How are things where you live? Better? Worse? Same ole same ole?
Ironically, the death of the Queen gave the country 12 days of respite from thinking how awful everything is. There were North Korea-esque tones to life for a short while. Don't moan about the cost of living - the Queen is dead. But thankfully, the minute her body went in the ground the doom is back on the agenda.
What's weird though is that Brits think its all down to the government to bail us out. During COVID they paid most of our wages for up to 18 months. That changed the mentality of the country, not necessarily for the better. There are now more work-shy people than ever before.
Now they've introduced an energy price cap for 2 years which will help, but have also given $1,000 handouts for the poorest in society which will probably cause more inflation.
The Conservative government, probably more closely aligned to the Republicans have become the most socialist government in my lifetime. I don't think socialism is the answer.
