I hope the Communists on the wet side of Oregon will allow the dry side to join with Idaho. Then perhaps there is a possibility that the dry side of Washington could leave the hell hole that that the Puget Sound area is becoming. I wish Eastern Oregon and Eastern Washington had decided to split off and become one state while the West Side became one state. Alternatively, both Eastern Washington and Oregon could have petitioned to become separate States. Who knows? It could start a trend allowing Northern California (excepting Frisco) to break off as well? Ah well, just musing.

That won't happen with Spo-Compton in the middle of Eastern Washington.

Went to Stop and Shop Grocery store here in Quincy, MA. This has happened before but I can't remember if I posted about it here. My wife puts a Wine in the Box in the cart and when it gets to the kid checker he looks at me (I turn 56 yo a week from Friday) and stops everything and turns tail to conduct search for a Manager. He returns with manager and says he needs to check my ID. Stunned I pull out my VALID WA state ID and he says they can't accept Out of State IDs and takes the box of wine and walks away with it.

That is the state of our country.

That's absurd!!

I'd ask for them to present the policy manual and prove it.
And all the while, refuse to move out of line.
