Morning Consult, which I think is a pretty good pollster, now shows Trump leading DeSantis 48-31 among Republicans.

A couple of things I found interesting in their comments:

"The share of potential 2024 Republican primary voters supporting Trump’s bid has been on the rise since a 45% nadir at the turn of the year."

"Trump maintains a substantial advantage with the youngest part of the GOP’s potential electorate. Most potential primary voters under the age of 45 (61%) said they’d back the former president, compared with roughly 2 in 5 of those ages 45 and up. Both figures are consistent with surveys conducted since the beginning of December."

"A hypothetical head-to-head matchup shows DeSantis with a 3-point lead over President Joe Biden, compared with a 3-point deficit for Trump."

My sincere hope is that all the extremists on the right agree with this ... and then stop voting! Meanwhile, my other sincere hope is that all the extremists on the left agree with this ... and then stop voting! And the country will be much better off.

If voting mattered, they wouldn't let you do it. Politics never changes the course of government. You can't vote your way out of tyranny. Voting is doing exactly as you're told. Voting is an obedience ritual. Voting changes nothing and only serves to legitimize the authority of so-called "government", which is neither legitimate nor moral. All taxation is theft. Peace, Love, and Anarchy!

A DeSantis ad from his first gubernatorial campaign, in 2018. Definitely loving Trump's endorsement:

If you think the country is the same under Biden as it was under Trump you live on a planet other than Earth.

The Fox News Poll of Republican primary voters shows Trump with a 30 point lead over DeSantis (54%-24%). In February Trump was up 15 points (43-28). Wondering what will be the effect of today's indictment (both the breaking news and the specifics of the indictment, which are not public yet as far as I know).
