You said that you were a gun owner. You changed your story as I was posting.

So since you never owned a gun, you can also correct the record from "I know" to 'I don't know'.
But this is how Donn posts. Tries to have a point, but wants to stay "in the middle", until he gets caught. Then it's damage control.

Huh, I have in fact been a gun owner, I'm not now, that would be illegal. I said there was one where I am living, I don't own it. That all seems pretty clear to me, as was the position I took. Guns do not make you safer, numbers back it up.

Talking gun culture, Philippines takes a second seat to nobody. Just to the north of where I am now is what's considered the center of illegal gun manufacturing, Danao city, it's pretty wild.

He's being passive agressive in his statements by communicating indirectly anti-gun and gun control. He refutes the statistical safety when there are more guns in the hands of responsible gun owners.

No, it's you making assumptions. I stated you or a family member are more likely to be shot with your gun than you shooting someone in self defense, and statistics back that up. It's not being anti anything, it's being realistic about the desire to own a gun. If you feel safer owning one fine, I'm not going to debate it. That's how you want to feel about it go ahead.

I feel for ya. We used to rent from our in-laws. The strings attached were endless.

Want to solve school shootings? Put an armed security guard in every school. If a person with a gun is there, the shooters will look elsewhere.

That view supports my view of "Weapon free zones" or as I call "target rich environments".

Right on Q, the sheeple fall in line for gun control. Heads are shaking, not because a sexually dysphoric nut-job went on a revenge kill, but because Congress is dug in on the second amendment. The leftist association of amalgamated gum-flappers cry for government to make a perfect world.....where anyone can do anything they want with impunity. Gee, that makes sense.

So now 'the enemy' is determined by how one reacts. Not the event itself. Afterall, shootings are 'normal'.

Does transgenderism trump public safety ? Apparently. CBS told staff to not mention said psychological disorder of the murderer. That would point toward the truth and present a fly in their proverbial ointment.
