This is what we are currently producing as a society:

It took me almost 3 years after graduating UW in 1989 in the heart of the Bush recession to get a decent job that paid over $20k a year. I would have crawled on my hands and news to work 9-5...

It sounds as if her commute is the bigger challenge. And it certainly can be at times.

You have to be shizzling me! Poor Baby! Note to this idiot: Get a job closer to home or go work for Starbucks! Even Wendy's! She sounds like she never had a job prior to this one. And it is also an indictment against our education establishment that this poor little snowflake didn't learn how to work! We are creating a generation of homeless persons!

There is a difference between challenging and breaking down and crying you eyes out whining like a baby about it. I am frustrated with my 1+ hour 10 mile drive home from the office when I go in but I have never melted down about it.

But you're not 12 years old

Seriously, what bothers me most is this idea that crying about it on social media is the right thing to do.

Suck it up, buttercup! This is what it means to be an adult. Obviously her parents didn't explain this to her!

Agreed.

What also bothers me is that millions of people who should be productive members of society have time to watch this. And comment on it. (Oops!)

Having time means you are efficient and haven't burdened yourself with unnecessary and undesired responsibilities! :)
