How do you stop money from influencing government?
The answer is you never will. This is why your best bet is always liberty and freedom. The free market. You don't need some benevolent, pie-in-the sky, Santa Claus group of "lawmakers" to make the free market work better. That's always implemented through force, and always a lie.
Who knows? Maybe you're "safer" being owned by government. This could be why so many acquiesce. They like being the lion in the zoo rather than the lion in the jungle. The jungle is too scary. But, much of this is the "education" as well. In reality, humans go out of their way to avoid conflict.
It's all rather obvious that these criminal organizations aren't helping us to live more prosperous. "Government" is a system of control and wealth extraction and always will be. But, most of us go through 12 years of indoctrination where we're taught otherwise. Every kid in every "country" is brainwashed using the same fear based us vs. them formula. Thank God you were born within these imaginary lines called borders and can't travel anywhere without a passport!
