They gave me hope. There have been freaks in society since the dawn of human civilization and common sense has always overcome lunacy and good has always beaten evil. They are just more exposed now with the ubiquitous nature of social media.

The tide has been turning since Younkin won in Virginia and will continue on imo.

Robin DiAngelo... what a treat.

The Dehumanizing Condescension of White Fragility
The popular book aims to combat racism but talks down to Black people.

The essence of the theory is basically if Black people don't realize they are victims they are just ignorant and if white people don't admit they are racist then that proves they are racist.

Had to read that book last year to stay employed by my school. I thought it complete bunk. I never thought of my individual students as being anything other than students. It didn't matter to me whether they were Latino, African-American, Ukrainian, Russian, Asian, or whatever. I was there to teach. And many of my best students were minorities. Who cares. Robin De Angelo is a grifter and more than the Education Mafia has fallen for it. White Fragility is crap!

Why do they lump Pacific Islander in with African American? Are they a higher degree of "oppressed minority" than Asians and Latinos?

100%

And how about the people who are always going on about the 'polarization' of society? What they're really saying is, 'If only everybody would just toe their line and and get with their program we would all be on the right side of history and everything would be fine.'

But if you oppose them, then it's you who is 'polarizing' society.
