RIP Alexey Navalny

Post by gil » Fri Feb 16, 2024 6:55 pm

Navalny, who is described as an outspoken critic of Putin, had died in prison. He did not fall out a window, so maybe there is nothing sinister.

Anyone who thinks that the US government silences its enemies should feel free to move to Russia, speak out against Putin, and see how that works out.

God bless the greatest country on earth, the USA.

And RIP Mr. Navalny. You were a very courageous man.

Wait until the new FISA law takes effect. You may want to change your tune. Remember, anything that Democrats can do and get away with may, in time, turn about to where they can be arrested and prosecuted to make them destitute. What does "warrantless surveillance" mean to you?

Is the new law any different from then that has been in place since 1978? I thought what was being considered was only an extension of the existing law.

What the Democrats are doing to Trump is just a sneakier, less violent version of what Putin did to this guy.

Yeah, Navalny was poisoned with a nerve agent in 2020, imprisoned on his return to Russia (after recovering in Germany), not given a fair trial, now is dead, and his mother hasn't been told how to claim (or if she can claim) his body. Trump gives speeches is he wants; plays golf is he wants. Pretty much the same thing.
