Crismatt struck out 7 in 3 IP in Tacoma but he did give up a HR,3 hits and 2 walks but just the 1 ER.

Good performance for Clay Chandler who I mentioned a few weeks back.

Another good performance from Murfee at Modesto too.

Modesto playcaller did an interview with DiPoto a couple of nights back. Talked about Raleigh and the pitching across the organisation directly.

Here's an interesting stat. Julio Rodriguez was 10 - 0 in base stealing last year. This year he is 1 - 3. Did he lose speed or did the catchers get better at a higher level?

My guess is a little of both. He is listed at 180, but probably closer to 220 right now. My guess is he has bulked up and lost a step. He is apparently still pretty fast for his size though, but 180-220 in about a year, he is bound to lose a step. Dominical league defense is pretty bad though. They have games where the errors for each team is like a football score 13-17.
