I really don't know anyone who is vaccinated who is "living in fear of Covid". (Of course, I would not describe anyone I know that way, even before vaccination.) I think people consider it to be a polite gesture, i.e., you care about other people (masks really were never about protecting yourself, but from preventing spread).

Glad you had no effects, WoodinevilleCoug. Same here, but two friends had high fevers for about 12 hours.
1. A polite gesture towards vaccinated people who are probably also wearing masks who can no longer get Covid. Based on science, I find that nonsensical.
2. A polite gesture towards unvaccinated people who aren't wearing masks????? Based on the vitriol spewed towards this group, I find that nonsensical.
I sense a lot more vitriol directed toward people who ARE wearing masks. Prominent example: https://www.foxnews.com/opinion/tucker- ... omfortable

If nonsensical is a bad thing (I assume that is how you mean it), I'll still go for an excess of politeness any day. People caring about not spreading the virus is what kept this *relatively* in check until the vaccines arrived.
TOTALLY made sense pre vaccine. Now it doesn't but whatever makes you feel good.

That was obviously a tongue in cheek response to the idiotic mask wearing policies that were implemented such as wearing masks outdoors despite less that 1% of transmissions occurring out doors.

94 new cases out of 7 million people in MA on Tuesday. 1 out of 75,000 people. Herd immunity has been achieved.

To me...it is no different than getting a flu shot every year. Dinky needle, fairly sore arm and you feel a little wonky for a day...great big nuthin', especially compared to the Shingles' vaccine. Those shots felt like someone had shoved a knitting needle in my arm and left it there for three days lol.
Sure but you just saw Joel report that his wife and friend were wiped out. Zero reason to get it now.
Wah. They were "wiped out" which means they took a nap and felt crummy for a day. Not a big deal. Not sure when it changes, but all I see around here is if you're vaccinated, no masks - if you're not vaccinated - mask up and social distance. But I'm sure the anti-vax peeps are following that to a T :D

SIX MONTH LATER

"Holy fucking sh*t I can't stop scratching. What did they put in me? Why did I trust my Satanic overlords...fuuuuuuck!

Oh well, I'll just wait for a 3rd dose of the jab to prevent the invisible virus that was never a problem for me in the first place."
I'll just drink some children's blood to feel better. I find a vodka/children's blood with some lemon is the best. The real bloody mary.
Zesting the lemon. Makes it taste even better.
I wonder if children's blood is good with eggs..... might have to try that after the next torture session.

I am sure I would survive but why. When I drink I know I won't feel great the next day but at least there is some benefit to it. :) Guessing that the current maskers are the vaccinated and vice versa ironically enough.

If the vaxxed are vaxxed and the rest decline the vaccine, who exactly is left that they would they be masking up for?

Think it through...

It's muppetry.

I don't disagree - I'm just stating what the signs on all the businesses say right now. If vaccinated, no mask. If no vaccine, mask and continue to social distance. I assume the thought process there is to protect the non vaccinated by masking up and social distancing. Either way, don't matter to me.

I wonder at what point people will stop wearing masks. If they are wearing them now knowing they are vaccinated and knowing that everyone else is either vaccinated or won't be getting vaccinated, will they keep wearing them for the rest of their lives or just until they stop being polite.

Or do cases have to go to zero which could be another year. :?:

When you guys are done sucking each other's dicks through face masks... here's the plan turned into a cartoon so you can understand.
