Re: SS on JK
This chart is all pitches not just balls put in play so it includes called strikes and foul balls so its not a truy batting average. Still you would expect he would be able to at least get one hit out of 25 pitches center cut.

Kelenic had less than 100 PAs at Double-A and then missed an entire year of competitive baseball before being deposited in a league where pitchers are throwing no-nos daily. Now he knows what the ceiling looks like and where he has to get to.

And in a related item, many on the radio are saying that Jerry Dipshito should be given another year, until 2023, to get the Mariners competitive because of all the injuries. So lets puzzle this out. Dipshito wants us to take a look at all the kids so we can be competitive next year, but who decided to NOT bring in a few veterans to play along with these kids so they learn how to win. Having depth helps when you have injuries. So who do we blame for not having depth? Mr. Dipshito because he either didn't think we needed depth, or Mr. Dipshito for not being able to convince ownership to spend more? In either case, Dipshito does NOT deserve another year to make this team competitive because they did not have depth. It is his fault, one way or another.
Re: SS on JK
I was going to go through this ridiculous piece point by point noting how nearly every argument is just absurd but you guys are smart enough to see it for what it is.

Jerry is the only GM in our history to attempt a rebuild..no doubt fighting the the low IQ ownership group at every level and opportunity. I’m not ready to throw Jerry out in the middle of his plan.
Re: SS on JK
Yeah I think he will have better luck convincing ownership to spend this off season now that the bean counter and his penny obsessing ways is gone. Unless of course beany still has their ear given his part ownership stake.Coeurd’Alene J wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 12:25 pmddraig wrote: ↑Tue Jun 08, 2021 1:21 amAnd in a related item, many on the radio are saying that Jerry Dipshito should be given another year, until 2023, to get the Mariners competitive because of all the injuries. That’s right he does have some stake.... I find it laughable a couple comments on your article might be the next article but they want Mathers to sue to get his job back in regards to JK.....you can’t make this shit up
