Trade proposal..... M's seem to have a comfortable trade relationship with Cardinals.....
What about offering Mike Leake back to the Cardinals for their second best 3rd base prospect, Elehuris Montero, one of their top international prospects from the Dominican Republic..... I know they won't part with Nolan Gorman, but this guy looks to have better bat control than Gorman.... What thinkest thou?

Other than the fact that his last name caused me it go into a minor seizure, it looks like it might work if we pay most of Leake's salary.

No way we get a top 10 organizational guy for Leake, much Less a top 5. I say that as a guy who thinks Leake actually is a decent 3-4 starter. I'd love that trade though.

not trying to be debbie downer but there is supposed to be a cycle, you get a good farm, promote to the MLs and then its discounted, the Red Sox are now at the bottom. How the Astros can continue to promote players and still be ranked that high...man alive

I thought there might be a chance if we pay 90% of salary like Bruce and because Montero is struggling in AA but probably wishful thinking....

I thought there might be a chance if we pay 90% of salary like Bruce and because Montero is struggling in AA but probably wishful thinking....

He's only 20, so I doubt they are too worried about his struggles yet. Id love to be wrong though
