Cashner doesn't have electric perfect game type stuff though.

Honestly, I don't care if they trade Leake or not. They won't get back a significant prospect, they aren't going to save much money, and they don't have starters ready to pitch until probably midway through next season (except Sheffield, but you need 5 starters). He brings as much value to the Mariners by eating up innings next year than he does any prospect they get back or cash they save imo.

Considering Santana played LF the first part of the season, and was considerably worse in LF than he wad in RF, this is a pretty damning stat.

He still leads mlb LF in errors by a large margin and is quickly catching up in RF, now tied for 4th in errors. He probably just needs to be DH. His outfield defense is much worse than Vogeys 1B defense. It might even make sense to put white in LF and he can play 1B against lefties if Voget doesn't figure it out. That is if they don't trade Santana, which would be fine with me if they can get a few good prospects.

His diving play yesterday where the ball slipped by him, he then threw off line to 3B, and the batter was able to advance to second was sure a beaut.
