No news on France yet. Well maybe he was wrong. France gonna continue playing through the pain really? I would hate to lose him but if his wrist can get hurt any worse he needs some time off

SEATTLE, Wash. — Seattle Mariners Executive Vice President & General Manager of Baseball Operations Jerry Dipoto announced today the following roster moves:
· Donovan Walton, INF, recalled from Triple-A Tacoma.
· Yohan Ramírez, RHP, optioned to Triple-A Tacoma.
Walton (#31) will be in uniform and available for tonight’s game vs. Colorado.
Walton, 27, was optioned to Triple-A Tacoma on June 12. He was recalled by Seattle from Triple-A Tacoma on May 14. He also was recalled from the Alternate Training Site on April 13 to serve as Seattle’s 27th man in a doubleheader at Baltimore.
In 20 games with Seattle this season, he’s hit .206 (13x63) with 5 runs, 2 doubles, 1 triple, 2 home runs and 7 RBI. In 2020, he made two stints with the Mariners: Aug. 31 and Sept. 11–15. Overall, he hit .154 (2x13) with 1 double, 3 RBI and 1 walk in 5 games.
The former Oklahoma State University Cowboy has appeared in parts of 4 minor league seasons in the Mariners organization, batting .283 (397x1401) with 217 runs, 76 doubles, 9 triples, 24 home runs, 154 RBI, 167 walks and 35 stolen bases in 372 games. Walton was the Mariners 5th round selection in the 2016 MLB First-Year Player Draft. Walton made his Major League debut with the Mariners on Sept. 10, 2019 against the Cincinnati Reds as a defensive replacement.
Ramírez, 26, was recalled from Triple-A Tacoma on June 18 but did not appear in a game for the Mariners in his most recent stint. In 2 games with Seattle this season, the right-hander is 0–0 with a 6.75 ERA (3 ER, 4.0 IP) with no walks and 4 strikeouts.
He’s appeared in 11 games with the Rainiers this season, going 0–0 with a 4.05 ERA (6 ER, 13.1 IP) with 10 hits allowed, 6 walks and 18 strikeouts. The right-hander made his Major League debut with Seattle on July 24, 2020 and is 0–0 with a 3.28 ERA (9 ER, 24.2 IP) and 3 saves with 11 hits allowed, 22 walks and 30 strikeouts in 18 relief appearances between 2020–21.
The Dominican Republic native was selected by Seattle in the Rule 5 draft (6th overall pick) from Houston on December 12, 2019. In his minor league career, he is 16–21 with a 3.74 ERA (126 ER, 303.0 IP) and 7 saves, with 222 hits allowed, 182 walks and 341 strikeouts in 99 games (40 starts).

Guess France is gonna gut it through. Wow he is tough. He really needs some rest. He was in serious pain. Walton was recalled.

I know France is tough but he was in serious pain. Hard to believe he can continue to swing a bat. Hoping he does damage it further.
