Nice to hear the guys celebrating behind JP interview!

Did you hear that? He has stopped trying to hit 20-30 homeruns and went back to his strengths hitting in the gaps.
I love it!
Crawford has turned into a great hitter. Fought off some tough pitches. RALLY KID. Kid gets the team back in it. Crowd was amazing. Keep winning and this crowd will get even louder.

Wow, think about all the contributors tonight: Marco, Shed, Fraley, Steck, JP, Mitch, JT, France
Marco really settled down really needed him tonight. Bullpen is lights out as always. Wow. Sewald getting a night off good we did not need to use him. This team is fun. Down 3-0 they needed to come back from this. Continuing the fight. They will not go down.
That is good news, have a good chance to stop any rally when he's available.

I did hear that. That was cool. And yes, great to here J.P. admitting that he's not a HR hitter and willing to be a table setter for the other guys, as well as coming up with a clutch hit now and them. Or perhaps a clutch walk as it turned out tonight.

Second biggest walk of the year behind the Fraley walk off walk.

I think if Dipoto hadn't been waiting for free agents to fall to them hat in hand and aggressively pursued Nelson Cruz we would have avoided the prolonged slump and been at least 6 games better than where we are now because he would have forced all the negative WAR guys out and been a big boost in the middle of our lineup. He would fit so nicely still.

I still don't have confidence in this offense when they fall behind. They desperately need a couple big bats for the middle of the lineup. But I'll be damned if they don't still find a way to win when you least expect it.

You'd think there would have been a coach or three reminding JP the type of hitter he is before he wasted last season(s) swinging out of his shoes.

Wonder what made him finally realize it. Some private swing guru probably, not Smirkin Servais.

Yes it would have been fun to see what this team could have done with a legitimate bat like Cruz in the middle of the lineup.

Great to see this team in the chase at the break. These guys are young and hungry. Need a starter and another bat at trade deadline without losing major future stars.
