Someone do some research. What position did Torrens play before Catcher? Could he handle any position in the infield other than 1B with an offseason to train?

I think Torrens can be fine as a backup catcher... I'm not sure we need to ask him to do more behind Raleigh.

The coaching was OK if JP had pulled up a bit after stepping on the bag, but he continued to run down the line.

That's true if Crawford started off for 2nd earlier then he would have made it. TORRENS gets us that run back. Nice piece of hitting. Our bullpen won't need much more of these runs.

What do you mean the coaching was ok? Hill was pointing for JP to go to 2nd.

He said it early enough Crawford just went to late. Should have went back to first. Possibly could have made it back.

We'll see. I'd like my backup catcher to be good at playing catcher though. He makes Narvaez look like a good glover
