Pitchers Delight Tonight!

Mariners Win!....THE.........M.A.R.I.N.E.R.S......................WIN!!!

We stay 2.5 back of the A's for the WC.
Let's sweep these guys going into the break.

Way to go bpj!

Flexen is the freakin man!
Someone just has to tell Flex he is at home Everytime he pitches. Idk how someone is so much better at home then road. Maybe crowd atmosphere?
Maybe the security of playing in a big ballpark like T-Mobile where you really have to square it up to hit it out?

They are facing dbacks. So no shocker but still. We have only scored double digits once this year I think. We do need a dangerous bat in there somewhere.

Thank you for that. Some of you guys really follow the minors well. So if you had to pick one guy behind Kelenic that will be the next "star" player....who is it? Is it Cal Raleigh? Julio?
AT can speak to this much better than I can, but there's something about Julio that just seems special to me. I think he's a future star, not just for the M's, but for MLB in general. Power to all fields, doesn't seem to be pull happy, good head on his shoulders, and tearing it up wherever he goes. Really looking forward to see what he does in the Olympics.

I think Kelenic is going to be good, but I think Julio is going to be better. Cal will be solid, and for a catcher, his bat will be a plus. But not at the Julio/JK level offensively imo.
I think Julio will be our best prospect since Griffey.
Does that mean Marte is ARod?

Or two. Even though he played superbly tonight, I don't think Moore is the answer at 3B. I'd like to see an upgrade there. And of course, Nellie. We have a lot of table setters. We need a couple of guys that can put fear into opposing pitchers. Torrens is getting to be a guy like that, but after him, not much more.

Julio is the man. It's going to be like watching a Nelson Cruz who is younger, faster, and plays good defense in Right Field. So excited to see him with the Ms.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Yeah I agree. I really like Dylan. He's really good defensively, and has great speed and creates havoc on the base paths. But he really needs to turn it on with the bat if he hopes to be an every day player at any position.

Doesn't hurt my feelings. He's become a liability offensively except for the power threat he poses.

And Dylan Moores glove doesnt seem too bad over there at all.

With 2B having more premium bats than 3B these days, guys like Seager and Moore arent a liability if we cant find a reasonable replacement.

Semien makes a lot of sense.

Is Kris Bryant not an everyday 3B either? I mean, hes obviously not, but i mean in terms of talent.. Seems like the Cubs won't even commit to him there, can we as he ages?
