I feel for guys like Bauers. I mean, it must be really frustrating to be good enough to make it to the highest level but just barely good enough to stay there, and knowing any given day in the majors might be your last.

Sample size getting bigger for Kelenic. 12 games including today his splits are at. .273/.347/.523/.870. If he can keep up .250/.325/.450/.775 from this point forward for the rest of the season, then I'd be very encouraged about him moving into next year.
The poster formerly known as Kingfelixk. With a new forum comes a new boardname. Julio is my guy, plus we share a birthday, so that's Culiooooo

Gallo bunting with two outs and nobody on? Might have just done us a favor. Blowers right on that.

And what's worse is that he's not even barely good enough. He's only here because DiPoto doesn't want to admit he screwed up trading for him. Meanwhile, Marms has a 1.167 OPS at Tacoma and isn't letting up.

I doubt he's "just barely good enough." He's basically a fill in for somebody who is injured.

Well, Marmo has had multiple chances and can't seem to hit in the majors consistently. I agree it's time to give him another shot, but I can also see why the Mariners would be skeptical. Plus, there's been some chatter that AAA pitching is down this year. I'm not sure if that's provable, but it could be the case.
