I feel for guys like Bauers. I mean, it must be really frustrating to be good enough to make it to the highest level but just barely good enough to stay there, and knowing any given day in the majors might be your last.

And what's worse is that he's not even barely good enough. He's only here because DiPoto doesn't want to admit he screwed up trading for him. Meanwhile, Marms has a 1.167 OPS at Tacoma and isn't letting up.

I think Dippo trading for him was a desperation move because of Evan White's injury and his thinking a firstbaseman was needed.
He chose poorly. Don't know if DC-S will ever amount to anything but Marmo would have been able to to equivalent of BowWowers at 1B and the OF, also would have provided more power. I'd like to see them switch places.

June 10, 2021: Traded by the Cleveland Indians to the Seattle Mariners for a player to be named later. The Seattle Mariners sent Damon Casetta-Stubbs (minors) (July 9, 2021) to the Cleveland Indians to complete the trade.

Weird how our relief pitchers who were money, including Castillo by extension, have all been lit up since the trade, but the relief pitcher we got who had been awful has been money.

I'd be surprised if we don't catch a couple pitches up and in after Sewald with the pickoff attempts on Torres at 2B with the injured hand.

Hopefully our guy wears it and comes around to score.
